Raising more than any other Democratic Secretary of State candidate in Ohio history and receiving five times more donations than opponent
COLUMBUS–State Rep. Kathleen Clyde (D-Kent) today announced that her campaign for Secretary of State has raised more than any other Democratic Secretary of State candidate in Ohio history. Raising over $2.1 million dollars to date, with over 12,000 donations in total, the campaign’s grassroots fundraising surpassed the previous Democratic high-water mark in late August.
“Our campaign is funded by thousands of small, grassroots donations from those who want to see a new generation of leadership that will put the people first,” said Kathleen Clyde’s Campaign Manager, Lauren Durham. “As Secretary of State, Kathleen will modernize the office, making it easier for entrepreneurs to start and grow a business, and ensuring our elections are fair, accessible, and secure so that every voter’s voice is heard and every vote counts.”
